Although this hardware was previously associated with the Wayru network, the Wayru project has since shut down. The device continues to function fully as a standalone router and access point and remains a capable piece of networking equipment. It does not earn Wayru rewards or incentives, but can be repurposed effectively for personal or professional networking needs.

Running OpenWRT firmware, the router offers advanced configuration and complete user control. It can be used to extend home Wi-Fi coverage, act as an outdoor access point, or serve as a custom router for more advanced network setups.
